Since 1990, Jeanne and David have either participated in producing or directed and developed week long experiences for groups of people. Our last major event was called Odyssey 2000 and served over 70 people. It also marked a transition for us as the facility we had used for over a decade passed into new ownership and wasn't available to us any longer. In January 2000, we visited the Caribbean coast of Mexico for the first time and fell in love with the area. We knew we had to go back, and when some friends mentioned their desire to go also, we knew we had found our opportunity. We put together a two week trip in November, 2001 and found everything we had expected and much more. An idea began to form. We would bring people here! We talked with several resorts and found one willing to work with us to offer our travelers incredible bargains. We would use what we knew about air fares and what we had learned about the area and invite people down to have a good time! This way we can go back over and over again! In our other lives (and businesses), Jeanne is a licensed massage therapist in the state of New Mexico, and has been providing therapeutic massage services since 1982. She began teaching Anatomy & Physiology curriculum at Crystal Mountain Apprenticeship in the Healing Arts in 1991. Jeanne has also written a book on The Care and Feeding of Muscles designed to be a guide to health care practitioners of all kinds and also for individuals who want to know more about their body. With David's help, this book will be published in 2007. David works in the computer world as an instructor for the Continuing Education program at UNM. He teaches courses in most aspects of software operation, including Microsoft Office, computer graphics, programming and database reporting. He also has his own business in training, graphic design and web development and site hosting. Both Jeanne and David have backgrounds in sales and are truly entrepreneurial spirits.
